Γεώργιος Τσατσούλας, ιδρυτής της Security Defence

  George Tsatsoulas

Risk and Crisis Security Manager. Founder of Security Defence.

He writes and designs for resilience from the position of someone who has stood inside crises, as a person called on to decide while time was pressing and the signals were still unclear. He began in the field, with operational training and work under pressure. He founded Security Defence in 2010 and through it directed security projects for EYDAP, STASY, the Municipality of Athens and Bulkers SA in Piraeus. Today he teaches, researches and writes on prevention.

One morning, in an operations centre, he saw a signal clearly and did not believe it. What followed he recounts himself in the prologue to The Daedalic Methodology.

  The books

In Resilience or Chaos he mapped prevention as a practical field, bringing together scientific knowledge and experience gained on the ground. He is the creator of the Daedalic Methodology, which gave its name to the second book, The Daedalic Methodology. There he goes to the thinking behind prevention: why crises rarely take us by surprise, and how time is read while it is still early.

A father of two, he lives in Greece.
