About us

Security Defence is a Greek company in strategic security and resilience. Since 2010 it has designed and applied protection systems for organisations, businesses, critical infrastructure and public bodies, combining risk analysis, new technologies and staff training.

It operates throughout Greece and is a private security company licensed by the Hellenic Ministry of Citizen Protection.

What we do

• Strategic Security. Multi-layered prevention and deterrence frameworks, vulnerability studies, smart drones, tele-surveillance centres, counter-surveillance (TSCM), specialised staffing.
• Resilience Solutions. Fault detection in critical infrastructure, energy optimisation, real-time dashboards, crisis manuals, decision support tools, business continuity.
• DEDALUS. The company’s resilience platform. It brings together data from different sources and turns it into early warnings and decisions, from water and energy management through to cities and critical infrastructure.
• Training. Security personnel, executives and management teams, in the handling of risks, crises and emergencies.

Awards and milestones

• 2010: the company is founded.
• 2018: distinction at the Athens Startup Awards and entry into the Athens Start-up Business Incubator (THEA) of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
• May 2019: first prize at the 3rd KEDE Innovation Marathon for Smart Cities, for the development of a Holistic Urban Security Model.
• 2022: registration with Elevate Greece.
• 2023: registration of its innovative services profile in the Enterprise Europe Network, and participation in DEFEA as a guest of Enterprise Greece, for talks with representatives of foreign companies.
• Stand at the 2nd Athens Innovation Festival, Zappeion 2018, at the Thessaloniki International Fair 2025 and at BEYOND 2025.
